Once you are established within the beauty industry you can develop your career by taking part in more beauty training through BTEC HNDs and foundation degrees. Subjects mainly include management of spas and salons and can be taken from a range of institutes. Once you are fully trained in management you can see your pay increase to around £20,000 a year depending on what area you work in, with many London salons and spas paying well over £30,000.
