Further beauty qualifications often desired include: City & Guilds level 3 diploma in Beauty Therapy, City & Guilds level 3 diploma in specialist beauty therapy or equivalent alternatives from other beauty institues including ITEC and CIDESCO. You can complete your beauty training with private schools or a part time college course, whichever your timescales and budget match. You may even be able to get free training from a future employer.
Career development paths with beauty jobs.
Once you are established within the beauty industry you can develop your career by taking part in more beauty training including higher level BTEC's, HND's and degrees. Beauty qualifications of a higher level generally revolve around subjects including management of spas and beauty salons. Once you are fully trained in management you can look at an increase in pay to around £20,000 a year depending on what area you work in, with London salons and spas paying talented beauty spa managers well over £30,000.
